Cannabis Kitchen: How to Make Cannabis Pesto


Summer is coming and what better way to enjoy the season than by drinking fresh juices and eating al fresco foods like salads, guacamole, and of course, pesto!
Today, Blue Buddha Canada is going to show you how to make pesto pasta with…you guessed it, our Premium Cannabis!

For the ingredients, you’ll need:

  • Fresh basil
  • Garlic
  • Cannabis-infused olive oil
  • Pine nuts (or other dried fruits)
  • Parmesan or pecorino cheese (dry cheese)
  • Salt

If you aren’t a fan of pine nuts, there are other variations you can use, such as walnuts and cashew nuts. You can also use other types of dry cheeses (pecorino, parmesan, grana padano).


  • You’ll need a mortar or a food processor to mix and crush the basil, garlic, salt, cheese, and nuts. Blend until you get a smooth dough.
  • Slowly pour your cannabis-infused oil while gently mixing the ingredients. Add enough until you get the right texture.
  • Add some salt and pepper if necessary.

Now you can enjoy your tasty cannabis pesto!
